Who I Am

I’m a writer and editor based in Austin, Texas. You can find my work here and at the Alcalde.

When I’m not writing, I’m reading.

 
 

What I Do

After cutting my teeth as the managing editor of the Alcalde magazine at the Texas Exes, I’m joining my First Light Books family as our first-ever full-time events & marketing manager.

Even when I’m not on the clock, you can find me tucked between the shelves with an iced oat cappuccino.

 

What I Know

I’m currently working toward a Master of Fine Arts in creative nonfiction through New York University’s low-residency Writers Workshop in Paris, France.

I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors. I also earned a certificate in Core Texts and a minor in English, and I studied abroad at Sciences Po in Paris.
